The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is designed to be a joint partnership with parents and professionals. We welcome parents to take part in the curriculum and the journey in learning about the EYFS and the supporting frameworks and legislation around what we do.
Meet our Managers
Manager – South Hill
I joined Castle in 2010 as an Early Years Practitioner, quickly working my way up to Room Leader and third in charge in 2011. In 2015 I was promoted to Manager at South Hill.
Manager – Markenfield
I joined Castle Nursery, Markenfield in 2007 as a Nursery practitioner and quickly worked my way up to Deputy Manager in 2008. I took over as Manager in February 2016. I hold an NVQ 4 in Early Years and Management and have two children a daughter aged 5 and a son aged 2.
Manager – Shamley Green
I qualified as a nursery nurse in 1998 and then gained a B.Ed. (Hons) in Early Years Teaching in 2008 and Early Years Professional Status in 2009. I carried on to train and qualify as a Forest School Leader in 2012 and then developed and led the Forest School programme at Shamley Green, which I continue to lead today, in addition to my role as Manager. I have been at Shamley Green now for many years, initially as a Deputy Manager from 2003 and then taking over as Manager in May 2016
