Shamley Green Nursery
Our Management Team
Jess Smith, Manager
Jess is a qualified childcare professional with vocational qualifications in childcare and a degree in leadership and education. Studying and practising in nurseries since leaving school, she has been a member of our nursery team since 2010 and a manager since 2015.
Her ambition to care for and educate young children is driven by her passion to have a positive impact on their lives by providing them with powerful play experiences which engage a child’s imagination and curiosity to explore – to create ‘thinkers and do-ers’ in their early years.
Hannah O’Riordan, Deputy Manager
Hannah is a qualified childcare specialist with considerable experience caring for all ages in early years before gaining management skills in her current role.
She developed a passion for early years childcare and education supporting her own family’s children, with a desire to help them learn as they grow. Years later Hannah has experience and insight to help children make crucial early bonds and attachments and promotes child-led play using the children’s natural curiosity to explore their environment independently.
Louise Ashbee, Regional Manager
Louise is a career childcare professional with vocational qualifications and a degree in childcare and education. From her early work experience in nurseries, formal education, apprenticeships and roles of increasing responsibility, she has been dedicated to early years care and education to the highest standard.
Louise started her career in 1997 and having previously managed other nurseries within the group, Louise is proud to be able to support a wider range of nurseries, including Castle Nursery in Shamley Green, with her valuable skills.
Working with Jess and her team, and with the support of her own management team, Louise provides advice and support for the development of the nursery and their team of childcare professionals. She is actively working on implementing an updated OFSTED recommended curriculum and managing the continuous development of Castle Nursery in Shamley Green.
