I qualified as a nursery nurse in 1998 and then gained a B.Ed. (Hons) in Early Years Teaching in 2008 and Early Years Professional Status in 2009. I carried on to train and qualify as a Forest School Leader in 2012 and then developed and led the Forest School programme at Shamley Green, which I continue to lead today, in addition to my role as Manager. I have been at Shamley Green now for many years, initially as a Deputy Manager from 2003 and then taking over as Manager in May 2016

I joined Castle in 2014 as a nursery practitioner at South Hill. In 2016, I transferred to Shamley Green where I was promoted to Room leader and third in charge. Then in September 2017, I was promoted to Deputy Manager. In September 2016, I commenced studying for a degree in early years care and education. I take great pride in my Deputy Manger role and every day I enjoy providing and promoting the highest quality care for all children in my setting.

We would also like to let you know that most of Castle Nursery & Pre-School staff members have worked for the nursery for many years.
